My Best Friend
A friendship that started ,
in very unusual circumstances .
A friendship that i pray ,
never ends .

A friend who brings peace to my troubled soul ,
just by being there .
i wonder ,
why no other can do that .

A friend who comes to mind ,
when am happy ,
when am sad ,
when i ve some gossip .

Its so easy to blame my friend..
But my friend is blameless coz,
My friend is so understanding ,
who i am so proud of ,
who forgives readily ,
who gives so much ,
that you need to be gifted to understand that .

Dumb that i am ,
My friend accepted me as i am ,
A friend who has a heart of gold ,
My friend taught me lessons of life ,
never to be forgotten .

There is so much ,
to tell you my friend ,
But fate plays ,
hide and seek .

A friend who feels like my destination and my beginning ,
Without you each day is a battle..
each day longer than 24 hours ,
wish the mornings would never come ,
and sleep would engulf me forever..
